Imagine-Chancellor Chargers
September 2020 Newsletter
In this Together
Opening the 20-21 school year has brought on a myriad of emotions for all of us. However, I am so thankful to be a part of this outstanding school community. I first want to thank all of the teachers and staff for going above and beyond to make the start of the year a successful one. Their dedication and commitment to our school is what makes Imagine-Chancellor shine! Additionally, a huge thank you to all of our Imagine-Chancellor families for their patience, understanding, and support. We are so grateful for all of you!
As we start to welcome back students to our campus as well as continue distance learning, our staff is dedicated to providing a quality educational experience for all students. We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all our students and staff. Therefore, there will be quite a few changes to procedures on campus when students return. This newsletter will provide important information regarding updates, so please take time to read.
Together, we will make this year a great one for our students. Thank you and always remember we are #inthistogether!
With much love and appreciation,
Ms. Standley
Principal
Ms. Kenefick's Farewell Message
It is with mixed emotions that I write my last message here at Imagine Chancellor. I am excited to announce that I will be taking the opportunity to work at one of our sister schools, Imagine Weston, as the school Principal. While I am full of pride and enthusiasm for this new chapter that lies ahead, it is definitely bittersweet as I reflect on how Imagine Chancellor has been home for me over the past five years.
Most people probably don’t associate the words ‘school’ and ‘family’ with one another, but here at Chancellor, we know we all use those two words synonymously. This school is truly like no other. During my time here, I have been fortunate enough to get to know and love all of your amazing children. I would like to thank you all for your support, kind words, and encouragement along the way. Without you, we would not have been able to make the strides and achieve the accomplishments that make our school so special.
In my time at Chancellor, I have always been impressed by the loyalty, positivity, and dedication of our community members. I know why. This school is incredible and will always have a place in my heart, and in my heart, I will always be a Charger! It has been my privilege to be the proud assistant principal here, and this is not the end of the journey. As I told all of your kids, this is not goodbye, it is see you later!
With much love and gratitude,
Lindsey Kenefick
Mr. Watts' Welcome Back Message!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to myself or any staff member if you have questions, concerns, and suggestions to make our Imagine-Chancellor family the best that it can be for everyone! We continually strive to communicate, make changes, and empower our students with a love of learning. This year we will continue with our Positivity Project, so don't forget to ask your students about the focus of each week. The lessons allow our students to learn skills and character traits to apply in and out of the school setting. Once again, we look forward to the coming weeks and welcoming all students and staff back on campus in the most healthy, safe way possible!
Sincerely,
Mr. Watts
Assistant Principal
