Lincoln County School District Mentor Project
Event Information
Finishing the School Year Strong
Seminar will be in the Media Center of Newport Middle School.
Sign in and networking will begin at 4:00 PM.
Seminar begins immediately at 4:30 PM.
Dinner will be provided.
You will be compensated for your time at curriculum rate of pay.
If you are earning WOU credit for the mentor project then you are required to participate in all of the seminars.
For those who are not registering for WOU credit, you are expected to attend 4 of the 6 CHOICE seminars; therefore, if you have not attended any choice seminars during the fall semester, you MUST attend the remaining CHOICE seminar in May.

- Special Education Focus Group - focus determined by participating SpEd teachers & SpEd administrators
- Music, Art, PE Focus Group - focus determined by participating Music, Art, PE teachers
- Introduction to Scoring Guides & Mastery in Motion (MIM) - for those NEW to Oregon Scoring Guides for Math Problem Solving, Writing, Science Inquiry/Engineering, and Speaking as well as NEW to Mastery in Motion (digital warehouse for work sample scores)
- Work Sample Scoring Work Session - teachers who already have experience with Oregon Scoring Guides and would like time to score work samples with other teachers
- Google Basics - Drive, Docs, Calendar, Mail
- Google Classroom
