We Have a Day of SCIENCE Learning In Store For You
This Ain't No Sit-n-Git!
Facilitators from both Project Wild and Project Learning Tree will be in Clarkston on October 6th to share some solid environmental education resources with us. Both curricula get students outside moving, playing, and exploring nature - just like kindergarteners ought to be doing.
This professional learning opportunity gets us outside, too! Please dress for the weather, knowing we'll be outside for a sizable chunk of the day.
The facilitators and I will address ways in which these curricula are compatible with the new Michigan Science Standards. What we can let go of, curriculum-wise, will also be clarified.
You'll walk away from this day of science learning with two terrific and user-friendly teaching manuals, and all sorts of inspiration.
Note that a light breakfast and full Subway lunch will be provided.
Please secure a full-day guest teacher as soon as possible using the code K-5 Curriculum.
