The Responsibilities of a Horse Trainer
Horse trainers are responsible for riding horses and training them to perform desired movements and behaviors. A trainer's job may vary, but in general they are responsible for planning training exercises. Racehorse trainers prep the horses for riding, work, show or competition.
Education/Salary
The average salary of a racehorse trainer is 31,000-35,000 dollars a year. For education there is no college degree required, but an associate's degree or bachelor degree may be helpful. Licensing may be required.
