Forward and iReady Results
In the mail next week, you will find a copy of your child’s spring Forward Exam results and their fall iReady assessment results for both reading and math. The Forward Exam is a summative assessment that gauges your child’s achievement in reading and math compared to other students across the state of Wisconsin. The i-Ready assessment, on the other hand, is a formative assessment given three times a year- providing students, teachers, and families detailed and timely information regarding how students are performing against the grade level standards throughout the year. As you review the results of both assessments, know that this data provides us with one way to understand your child’s progress. If you have any questions about either report, please bring the reports to our upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences for further discussion or reach out to your child’s literacy or math teacher.
With love,
Ms. Rydzewski and Mr. Krupar
