Panther Weekly
January 9th - 15th
Welcome back to our first full week of 2nd semester 2023!
We wish you all of the best in the new year!
Let's Start the Semester Right!
Please Be On Time Daily
- As a reminder, school begins at 7:15am. We are aware that traffic is heavy. Please leave home early enough to arrive to school and be in 1st period on time. Thank you for helping us have your student to school on time!
- If a student arrives to school after 7:30am, the student MUST check-in through the Attendance Office. If a student needs to leave school for any reason after arriving to school, the student MUST check-out through the Attendance Office. The Attendance Office is located inside the main building lobby.
Don't Forget Your Chromebook
Please remember to bring your FULLY CHARGED Chromebook Daily! It is important to have these everyday for class use.
Report Cards, Schedules, Registration.... Oh MY!
1st Semester transcripts will be mailed from the GCPS district office the week of January 9.
When will you be able to see your schedule for 2nd semester?
Schedules for the second semester of the 2022/23 school year are viewable to students on the StudentVue App and in the Student Portal. If a student needs a printed copy of their schedule they can go to any office to get one. As a reminder, students registered for classes last spring for the entire school year and the master schedule of courses was built based on student course requests during registration. Therefore, changes to student classes will not be made between semesters. The only changes being considered are for seniors who could be missing a required course for graduation or if a student is scheduled for an academic course for which they have already received credit.
When will we register for classes for the 2023/24 school year?
Course Registration for the 2023/24 school year will take place in January & February. Look for the link to the Registration Hub on the Parkview website beginning on January 17th. The registration hub will contain the timeline and all the information needed for course registration for both students and parents.
