Board Policy IHB- Homework

The School Board rescinded the IHB- Homework policy. The policy is no longer valid with current practices, and is not a required policy. For more information, click here.

IKBC Policy, Material Harmful to Minors Complaint Resolution Process
The School Board Adopted Board Policy: IKBC. The Peach County Board of Education ("Board") hereby adopts the policy to address complaints submitted by parents or permanent guardians alleging that material that is harmful to minors has been provided or is currently available to his or her child who is enrolled in the Peach County School District ("District"). JRB Policy, Parents' Bill of Rights

The School Board Adopted Board Policy: JRB. A parent of a minor child at any school within the Peach County School District may exercise his or her parental rights. For more information, click here.

Opening of a Non-Traditional School

The School Board Adopted Resolution #12062022 for the opening of a non-traditional school at 900 Campus Drive, Fort Valley, GA 31030. For more information, click here.

Byron Elementary School HVAC Bid

The School Board approved J.M. Clayton Company as contractor for the Byron Elementary School HVAC project. For more information, click here.

Peach County Schools and Fort Valley Youth Center of Excellence Contract Agreement

The School Board approved the contract agreement between Peach County Schools and Fort Valley Youth Center of Excellence to provide afterschool snacks to Peach County students. For more information, click here.

School Board Recognitions

Byron Elementary School
Mayra Barjas-Silva, a BES 5th grade student, was recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. Delta Kappa Gamma, Skweeky Clean Car Wash, and Marco's Pizza were also recognized and presented Certificates of Outstanding Service for their continued support of Peach County Schools.

Hunt Elementary School

Chance Hill, a HES 5th grade student, was recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement for his excellent behavior and academic achievement. Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church was also recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Service for their continued support of Peach County Schools. The church donated school supplies and participated in Hunt Elementary School's Trunk or Treat.

Kay Road Elementary School

Ava Evans , a KRES student, was recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. Rack Room Shoes and Peach County Fire Department were also recognized and presented a Certificate of Outstanding Service for their continued support of Peach County Schools.
