Halloween Celebration at Park
We do ask families to consider the following when sending a student in/ with a costume:
- Students must be able to put their costumes (on top of their other clothes) on their own.
- No costumes that cover the entire face
- Please refrain from costumes depicting violence or gore
- No additional costume pieces such as weapons
- Please refrain from inflatable costumes with built-in fans
Classes will be celebrating in the classroom as well, however, we do ask that parents do not send in classroom treats as we are still adhering to six feet social distancing while students are eating, and classroom spaces cannot accommodate that. We look forward to celebrating next Friday!
Student Council SOCKTOBER
Our Worthington Park Elementary Student Council is sponsoring a sock drive (new socks only, adult-sized) to benefit Huckleberry House next week Oct. 25-29. Each night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. Even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.
Please put any donated socks in the plastic bag that will be located outside of your classroom. Reps will collect the socks each day next week.
To Help Celebrate Socktober- We invite all students to wear a pair of Silly Socks to school on Wednesday, October 27th!
Reporting a case of Covid or close contact exposure
If your child tests positive for Covid-19 or has a "close contact exposure" outside of school, please complete a report at this link or call the Covid hotline at 614-450-3900.
Student School Pictures -- Tuesday, October 26
- Retakes - If you would like your student's picture retaken, they will need to bring the original package to school on the 26th. Students will give the package to the photographer who will take a new picture and order the same package.
- New - If your student was absent on the original picture day or is new to Worthington Park, please email Renee (rfisher@wscloud.org) & she will send home an order form with your student. On October 26, your student will need to bring this form to school with payment. You can also pay online (Promo Code: MYNAME).
