HELLO, KIA ORA, KIA ORĀNA, MALO E LELEI, TALOFA, NAMASTE, KUMUSTA...
WOW!!! What an amazing school community we have. Thank you so very much for all the amazing support we had in our recent Fertiliser Drive. We need to thank:
- Those who contacted people via the 'Telephone lists'
- Those who walked the streets dropping off pamphlets
- To Daniel S. and Plumbing and Gas for picking up the 450 bags from Webers Wool in Feilding
- To Daniel M. and T Market Fresh for the use of the forklift
- To those who lived our Mercy values and helped on the day delivering the orders
- To those who supplied the morning tea - it was delicious and much appreciated
- Karen and Maria for all the organisation of this event
In the holidays, maintenance and the beginning of the upgrade to the playground will be taking place after many years of fundraising. We thank all those that worked hard for a number of years to make this possible. Every year we will continue to upgrade and add new to our school areas.

ZONES OF REGULATION
AUGUST 18th at 6pm
ZONES OF REGULATION MEETING/HUI - HEALTH CONSULTATION
This is a meeting you do not want to miss. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about this effective programme we are introducing into the school.
The Zones of Regulation is a framework that uses four colours–blue, green, yellow, and red–to help students identify their feelings and level of alertness.
This will be followed by our Health Curriculum consultation which every school is required to undertake every two years.
We will provide a light tea as well as a movie night for your children so you can attend. We look forward to seeing you all there.
For catering purposes please let your child's teacher know or phone/email the school office if you are able to attend. Both meetings will be of great interest to you.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB - last day to place your cash orders to the school office is Friday 13th August. Online orders will close the morning of Monday 16th August.
CATHOLIC CORNER
We began this week reflecting on the person of Mary - and looking at all different images of her as we begin our journey to next week with the Feast of the Assumption. It will begin with a light and sound show at the Cathedral on Saturday August 14th at 7.30 pm. Everybody is welcome to come! Then throughout the week we will be having other activities to celebrate it.
