Where Learning Comes First
Principal's Post
Dear Head Community,
We've had the BEST 2 weeks here at Head! Between the Dogwood Picture Book night, the Back-to-School dance, the All Pro Dads event, Grandparents' Week, and our normal exciting days of teaching and learning, we have been BUSY! It is important to me that our community is engaged and connected to our school. Thank you so much for all your support! Next month, we have many more fun activities coming. In fact, we have so much going on, that we made an October calendar flyer for you! You will receive a hard copy in Friday Folders and we've also embedded an electronic version in this newsletter. The hard copy would be a perfect addition to your fridge! Remember, the purpose of our "theme" days or "activities" is to build engagement and excitement for our students. All events, activities, and dress up days are completely optional for you and your family! Enjoy your weekend and this beautiful weather.
PTA News You Can Use
The first round of spirit wear was passed out today. All other items will be passed out as soon as they come in.
It's time for our school art competition, Reflections! This year's theme is "Show Your Voice" and we are going digital with our submissions, which will make it even easier to submit your art! All the information can be found in the entry packet. Entries are due Friday, September 30, so start creating now! Good Luck! GA PTA Student Entry Packet 2022.docx
