Sports Day

As you know, we have had to cancel Sports Day next week. We are keeping the situation under review in case there is a possibility that this could be held within the final week of term. The decision to proceed is quite complicated and may need to be made quite late next week, but we will endeavour to communicate this to you as soon as we are able.

Coronavirus Restrictions

You will be aware that the government Coronavirus restrictions will ease on 19th July. We have decided as a school, with the full backing of the MAT, to keep our current precautions in place for the final week of term in order to ensure that all our children and adults remain as safe as possible before the summer holidays. It is our intention to remove the restrictions for the new term in September.

Mid-day Supervisory Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Mid-day Supervisory Assistant to supervise our children at

lunchtimes. Duties will include supporting children’s eating, maintaining a clean and safe eating

environment, and supervising play outside. We maintain a welcoming, inclusive ethos and want

someone who will join our strong staff team. Application forms are available from the office or by visiting our website here.

FOSS Sponsored Cycle

Thank you for supporting the FOSS sponsored cycle event. Don't forget to send all your outstanding money via ParentPay or directly into school by 19th July please.

Special Lunches

Just a reminder that we have our Picnic Lunch and Seaside Special Menus running next Wednesday and Thursday. If your child would like to be included, they can order the lunch with their teacher during registration each morning.

School Lunches

Next week we will be on Week 1 of the lunch menu below.

Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.

Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.

Each day there are 3 choices, either the hot dinner, the sandwich or the jacket potato with a choice of topping. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.
