Dear Holloway Eagle Family,

Third Quarter

Thursday, Jan. 5th will mark the first day of third quarter. Third quarter Honors Day will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12th. Grades 3-5 will be held at 8:30 a.m. and Grades 1 and 2 will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the gym.


School will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday. Students will return on Jan. 17th.

Report Cards

Second Quarter report cards will be sent home with students on Tuesday, January 17th. Please review your child's grades and schedule a conference with your child's teacher if needed. You can always check grades via Schoology.

Extended Day Tutoring

Extended day will start January 10th-March 16th. We have limited spaces available. It is imperative that if your child is selected that they attend all scheduled sessions. You child will be dismissed if they miss two or more sessions. We are preparing for ACAP testing. We have approximately 51days left until testing.

Attendance Matters

Please make sure your child is on time and present each day. Please be reminded that if your child is absent, you have 3 days to send an excuse. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

2022 Spelling Bee

Congratulations to all students who participated in the Spelling Bee. Taylor Harris is the first place winner and she will represent Holloway at the district competition on Friday, February 3rd. Our Second place winner is Makiyah Brantley and our Third place winner is Jordyn Bush.
