From the principal
Thank you all for joining us at the Open House! We love having you in the hallways, in our classrooms, and visiting our animals. A HUGE thank you to the Long family for making us such a delicious meal! I hope you had the opportunity to visit the many community resource tables in the gym. If not, please read on to learn more about our 7(!!) 4H clubs and more!
We are looking for a before/after school care coordinator. If you know an organized individual with energy and interest, please send them our way!
Here is reading of the poem "Kindness" by Naomi Shihab Nye. Take a moment if you please to listen and reflect. Kindness and goodwill are such important and growable traits for our students and ourselves. They help us include others, care for others, and nurture a strong, supportive community.
Hawlemont District is building a strategic plan! Help us start the process by filling out this survey. Your input is invaluable. Thank you in advance.

Permissions form and Handbook
Many of you have done this, but we are still missing a few. Please take a few minutes to go through this weekend.** We learned there was a problem with the link- It is now working!
The Permissions document is online this year. Please take a moment to fill it out for each student you have here at Hawlemont. Here is the link.
Here is a link to the Handbook as well. Please take a moment to read through this with your student. If you would like a paper copy, please let the office know.
