CATCHING THEM IN THE ACT
A CONSERVATORY PREP NEWSLETTER
Week Ending Oct. 21, 2016
Another remarkable week at Conservatory Prep Schools. We started off with Research Day at Nova Southeastern University and finished the week with Reflection Day.
Next week is Community Service Week. While some of you will be on the ship and performing service in the Dominican Republic others of you will spend the week volunteering at the horse rescue ranch, helping around the school, working at a senior center and building puppets for the Day of the Dead parade in Fort Lauderdale.

Research Day at NSU
The week began by spending the day at the Alvin S. Sherman Library at Nova Southeastern. After participating in a scavenger hunt locating resources around the library, the students learned how to utilize some of the databases, document primary sources in the Holocaust Center, wrote an annotated bibliography, identified an ideal thesis statement and conducted a short research project.
Happy October Birthdays
Reflection Day
Thrilled that we had such a good turnout for Reflection Day. This is one opportunity for students to reflect upon what they learned during the past few weeks and be able to present the most meaningful pieces of information to their families and friends.
