Sir Isaac Newton
His Vital Experiment and the Solar System
Newton's Crucial Experiment
Newton's prism experiments proved that white light is a combination of all the colors in the color spectrum. The same experiment also proved that white light refracts into the colors of the rainbow. He set up a prism near his window and let in one beam of light. That light was then refracted into red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. He also proved that light is made up of particles, not waves.
Newton's Impact on the solar system
What did Newton discover regarding the Solar System?
Sir Isaac Newton formulated the Law of Universal Gravitation which states that any two bodies in the Universe are attracted to each other due to gravity. It states that gravity is universal. He used his laws of motion and gravitation to explain why planets move the way they do. He also invented a new kind of math to calculate planetary motion. This math is now called calculus. He also created the first telescope using mirrors which he used to view other planets and astrological objects.
