4-H Horse Work Day
Last year after the fair, we heard concerns from numerous horse families that they would like to see the horse stalls leveled out on the fairgrounds. The Ag Society has agreed to purchase the fill sand needed to fill in and level out the stalls.
The Ag Society has asked us to line up a work day or two and they will make sure the fill sand is here by those dates prior to fair cleanup. Jill Cary has agreed to take the lead on this project. It's going to be a pretty labor intensive job for a day or two to get it all done and will need lots of hand to help. Jill will be contacting horse families to get a plan put together.
Livestock Achievement Program
Don't forget to apply for the Livestock Achievement Program by June 15! The Nebraska 4-H Livestock Achievement Program is designed to promote all educational aspects of 4-H livestock projects including selection, production, leadership, and exhibition by recognizing youth striving to improve in their livestock project knowledge and leadership.
