The Mustang Minute
April 5, 2019 - Issue 29
We Need YOU!
If you are worried that the time commitment is too much, rest assured it is one meeting per month and some extra help outside of school to organize fundraisers. The president position is easily shared which can make the commitment much easier.
What are the benefits, you ask? So many! You will know more about what's happening in school than your students. You get monthly updates from your school principal (anyone who attends a PTO meeting can get that as well) and you get to help make all the extra programs and activities happen at CMS.
If you are interested in any of the board positions or are willing to take a more active role in the CMS PTO for next year, please come to the next meeting, April 9th at 6:30 or email me with your name and information.
Rocket Club is Back!
The Rocket Club is an after school club for students interested in learning more about the science, technology and engineering involved in designing and launching rockets. Students will be working with Ms. Bernritter (STEM teacher) and Mrs. Collins (7th grade science teacher) to design, build and launch two different types of rockets.Students will also further their understanding of the engineering design process and scientific method and how both are used in the real world to explore and improve our lives.
