March Happenings

We want to take a moment to thank some of our parent volunteers for serving on our advisory board. Thank you to Jennifer G., Lindsay A., and Kaitlyn H.

We also want to take a moment to thank Erica Rousseau for her many, many hours of help with our book fair. It was a huge success, and that was all because of her and her volunteers. If you volunteered to help with the book fair, please know we appreciate you and your help had positive impacts on our students and staff.

Upcoming Events:

1) Spirit Weeks: February 28th-March 11th. See the flyer that went home this week and the email from February 24th. We hope your child is able to dress-up with us. It is a lot of fun.

2) Class Photos: March 2nd and 3rd

3) Chapel: March 9th and 10th: The theme this month is the Lord's Prayer and Finding Calm

4) Spring Break: No school March 14th-18th.

We cannot believe we are heading toward the final months of school this year. We look forward to celebrating Easter and checking on our garden as our plantings from the fall start to appear.

Grace and Love,

Kelly Amadeo, Director

Ash Wednesday Service for Kids

Join Ms. Kelly, Ms. Sam, Mr. Jake, and Ms. Sharon for an interactive, age-appropriate Ash Wednesday service. On Wednesday, March 2nd at 7:00pm, bring the whole family for a special service. Drop your children (ages 3 and up) off in Fellowship Hall, and head to the sanctuary for the adult service. During the children's service, your children will visit four different stations that teach them about the season of Lent. At the very end, they will go into the sanctuary where they can get an ash cross on their forehead or hand from one of our clergy. This is such a wonderful and meaningful event. We hope you all can come.

Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for volunteers to help with snow shoveling in the mornings. Click on the link and read the description to see if it is something you can help with. We really appreciate it!

Music in March!

Goodbye, February and Hello, March!

We are excited to begin our month with fun-loving animal songs like, “Animal Action,” and “Going on a Bear Hunt." The Little Schoolers will also search for their pot of gold while celebrating St. Patrick’s day with silly songs like, “Leprechaun Pie,” playing rhythm sticks, and dancing to traditional Irish music.

When the snow begins to melt away and the sun shines a little brighter, we will jump into spring with charming songs like, “Peter Rabbit."

Our chapel song this month will be, “Hear God’s Word”.

As always, thank you for sharing your beautiful little blessings with us each day.

Ms. Laura, Ms. Sheri, and Ms. Kara C.
