Message From The Principal
Happy New Year and welcome back after winter break. I hope everyone had a safe and healthy winter break and was able to enjoy some time with family and friends. This week staff across the building took some dedicated time to connect with students to foster build back positive relationships. It was nice to hear so many wonderful stories from students about they enjoyed their winter break. It has also been so nice to see all our students' smiling faces and excitement to return back to school. We are also building back routines across the building and students have done an excellent job readjusting to meet expectations.
Below you will see a save the date for a new upcoming event at Westbrook, Family Literacy Night. All families, preschool through second grade, are invited to join us at Westbrook on Wednesday March 8, from 5:30 to 7:00. We are hoping to share out many fun and exciting literacy activities for students and families while providing time for families to visit our book fair. We are still very much in the planning phase and look forward to sharing much more information in the upcoming weeks!
We also have the schedule set for our first and second grade spring musical performances. Please see the link below to find out more very important information about attending these performances as well as the schedule for individual classes! We are very much looking forward to having these performances again here on the Westbrook stage!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Patrick
