Strategic Planning for Lake Shore Public School
What Students Can Do With What They Know- Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
During the summer of 2016, Lake Shore Public Schools, led by Superintendent Dr. Joe DiPonio, created a new guiding vision and mission for the district. Created by a community committee, facilitated by school administration experts, the foundation was laid for the future focus. Continuing this work, the district began strategic planning meetings, identifying five areas of focus for the vision and mission. These five focus areas are Finance; Human Resources; Technology and Infrastructure; Early Childhood Programming; and Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.
The next step in the strategic planning process is to create community committees for the five focus areas. You are being invited to participate in the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment committee. Below, you will find two short videos that provide information that informed the development of the vision, mission and Portrait of a Graduate. We will be working on the plan to achieve that outcome. If you are able to attend, please RSVP on the event time and date below.
