Hawk Happenings: April 11th
Holy Rosary Regional School/Juan Diego Academy Community
Message from the Principal
I want to thank all who have reached out with thoughts and prayers for Father Wagner and our school community. This is certainly a difficult time for his family, friends, and our entire community. We do not have any update on Father's condition at this time. He is still unconscious and not expected to recover, though a lot of prayers are going out for a miracle. At this point, most of his family have arrived and they are waiting on one or two members from Poland. We will provide a further update when we have one. You can also follow the Holy Rosary Church Facebook Page for more frequent updates and to post your prayer intentions at https://www.facebook.com/ourladyoftheholyrosarytacoma/
Here is information from the FB page:
- The hospital has requested no visitors outside of immediate family and clergy and archdiocesan staff.
- Please continue to pray for Father Wagner, for his family, and for his parishes and school communities.
- There will be a prayer vigil at 7:00 pm this evening at Visitation Church, and at Holy Rosary on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Please attend if you can or say some prayers wherever you are. Our staff and students have been praying since we first heard he was sick yesterday.
- The Friday 7:15 am Mass has been canceled, but all other Masses will be celebrated as scheduled, including School Mass at 9 am.
Blessings,
Katie Dempsey

Development News! The Gala is Coming Soon!!
Holy Rosary Gala
We will be hosting our sixth annual Gala fundraising dinner on May 5, 2018. We are very excited that Bishop Eusebio Elizondo will be attending as the keynote speaker. This is a very important fundraising event for our school with a financial goal of $175,000. The primary funds raised during the evening go to fund tuition assistance programs. Please consider attending this event as a guest. Ticket prices have been scaled down from past years and are $100 per person which includes appetizers, cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
If you are still looking for volunteer hours we will need help with decorations, set-up, event assistance, and clean-up. I will share more details with regard to the volunteer schedule as the event gets closer.
Bishop Eusebio Elizondo

Thank you!
Thank you to Tiffiny Yi for her amazing work on the Book Fair.
I know I say this often, but it is so true...we couldn't do what we do without our amazing parent volunteers!
Don't Forget Breakfast and Lunch!!
Some students (especially kids in middle school) are not eating morning snack and/or breakfast. Please remember, kids are required to bring something to eat. Otherwise, they will need to purchase a meal at school. Nutrition is important for students to be successful at school!
