If I Were Mayor Contest Winner!
Congratulations to Mara Elliott on being selected as a regional winner of the “If I Were Mayor Youth Essay Contest.” Mara was selected from 840 essays entered by students from across the state and will be honored by the Governor at a ceremony in April. As a regional winner Mara will receive a plaque, $250 cash scholarship and will be recognized in Cityscape Magazine. She will also be eligible to receive one-of-four statewide honors that will be announced at the April Ceremony.

Chromebooks:
All students should bring their charged Chromebooks with them to school each day, and it is also recommended that they pack their Chromebook charger. Our building does have loaner Chromebooks for the rare occasions when a temporary device is needed. If a replacement charger is needed students can pick up a new one from the library; a $22 fee will be assessed for a replacement charger. Thank you for your help in making sure your student is ready to learn each day!
