Welcome Back!
Next week includes your first day back for the 2018-2019 school year! I have included a schedule below of your first week back:
- Monday, August 6th: New to Sherwood Staff Orientation 9:30 a.m. in Amber Howard's classroom
- Thursday, August 9th: Activate SPS 8:00-3:15 pm (site depends on your position)
- Friday, August 10th: Welcome Back Staff Meeting in the Learning Commons @ 8:30-12:00 pm: Dark Stone Coffee Truck will be ready to serve at 8:00 a.m. and breakfast will be provided in the library (eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and pastries). Dr. David Bucke will be presenting your Kolbe colors! Please dress comfortable-jeans are acceptable!
- Friday, August 10th: Kindergarten Meet and Greet 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.-playground
- Friday, August 10th: Class lists posted on the front doors & Popsicle with the principal @ 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. (teachers are not required to be present).
- Monday, August 13th: Meet the Teacher 5:30-6:30 pm (work in classrooms today)
- Tuesday, August 14th: "Back to School Basics" staff meeting in the library from 8:30-9:30 am
- Wednesday, August 15th: First day of school and IGNiTE Deployment for 3-5 (1:00-3:00 pm-teacher's choice).
- Thursday, August 16th: IGNITE Deployment for K-2: 9:00 Second Grade, 9:30 Kindergarten, 10:30 First Grade (more info. will come at Tuesday staff meeting).

- Please send me a text message with your name so I can add your cell number to my contacts. Please add my cell to your contacts as well: 417-576-8310. I will be available this summer by email, text or by phone.
- I would love to meet one on one with each of you prior to the start of the school year. Please shoot me an email or text to schedule a time. We can meet closer to August if you prefer. I have a few simple questions for you and would love to answer any questions you have as well.
