Every April, the Autism Society works to build an inclusive community where autistic individuals are embraced and supported to achieve the highest quality of life possible. The Autism Society was founded in 1965 by Bernard Rimland and remains one of the few grassroots organizations in the autistic community.
Each March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD), and our partners work together to create a social media campaign that highlights the many ways in which people with and without disabilities come together to form strong, diverse communities.

To provide innovative, high quality transition support services to students with disabilities. Emphasis is placed on developing the student's self-determination and those skills necessary for achieving successful post-secondary outcomes. Outcomes may include, but are not limited to, independent living, vocational training, employment and post-secondary education.
