We are THANKFUL!
We hope all of our Lion families had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! We had lots of fun doing the "Turkey Trot" on the Morning News Show on Tuesday, November 21st.
As we prepare to celebrate the holidays one of the ways our school likes to give back is through our Grade Level Service Projects. We look forward to sponsoring these projects each year. This year our project will run from November 30th-December 15th. Like in previous years, grade levels will focus on sponsoring a specific organization in our community. Boxes for each grade level will be located in the Commons area so that students can drop donations in the baskets each morning on their way to class.
Run Hard 5K - Saturday, December 9th
Our NPE Lions Run Hard team earned their shirts by running 2 miles! They are preparing for their 5K on Saturday, December 9th at Saluda Shoals.
We would love to have support for our Lions at the race, so if your schedule allows please come out and cheer on our Run Hard team on 12/9!

Weekly Character Challenge
Each week, New Providence highlights student leaders who are demonstrating good character skills such as using the quiet signal, showing Roary's expectations, and/or exemplifying kindness. As a student shows one of these skills, they are presented with a ticket. That ticket is put into a box and names are drawn at the end of each week.
Congratulations to our drawing winners from the week of 11/13:
Daniel K. - 4 Mabry
Anh L. - 1 Scoma
Jimmy C. - 2 -Stefopoulos
Jagger M. - 2 Blewett
Keith P. - 3 Sundberg
Reese B. - 5 VanPelt
