JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN, ALLELUIA!
Jesus Christ became a human like us but sin in order to be with us, to share our fate, to suffer with us and to have died for us. Christ’s mission of saving us from eternal death has been well-accomplished when he died on the cross. The moment of being hung on the cross is also the moment of being glorified.
The resurrection of our Lord brightens us and strengthens our faith. It is certain that we are so joyful because of this event. The joy of resurrection sure becomes our joy as well. Through the resurrection of Jesus, we are given a new life in him. With this new life, we can walk strongly to face and to overcome the challenges, the difficulties, the pain, poverty, and especially persecutions.
If the joy and hope of Jesus Christ’s resurrection are the motivations of our lives, then it should be that our hope of the resurrection should be expressed every day of our lives. If so, our life can go courageously from the cross to the resurrection. Praise the Lord for His love never ends.
The Lord is risen, Alleluia!

Playground Information
Parents are reminded that students must go home after school and check in before they may play on the playground. Supervision of students after school occurs only in the library, students are not permitted to remain on the playground to wait for their parents to pick them up. ALL STUDENTS MUST WAIT IN THE LIBRARY AFTER SCHOOL FOR THEIR RIDES. We cannot ensure student safety around buses, vehicles, etc. when we do not know where the students are.
Kindergarten Registrations
We would like to encourage parents of children who will be attending kindergarten in the fall to drop by and fill out a registration form. (Please bring the child’s hospitalization card and Baptism certificate with you) This is an important process for us at St. Mary School. The number of kindergarten registrants will help us to set appropriate staffing levels for next year and allow us to establish materials and supplies for the class.
We strongly encourage all parents affected to register their kindergarten student. If you have any questions about St. Mary School or our kindergarten program, please feel free to call Mr. Loeppky at 306-445-5152. Please pass this information on to parents in our attendance area who do not currently have children at our school.
2019-20 Registration
If your child will not be attending St. Mary School for the 2019 -20 school year, please contact the school as soon as possible. Notice of these changes will help us in the process of establishing staff and classroom arrangements for the fall.
If you know of any parents who are considering registering their children at St. Mary School for the fall please encourage them to contact our school as soon as possible. Any number of new students to the school could make a difference in the arrangements of classes and grades.

June lunch card fees are due by May 20th. If you have not paid your lunch card for May, please ensure you send a lunch or the $10 with your son/daughter on May 1st or they may be asked to walk home for lunch.
