Managing Connections
PDF's can be managed and shared through many types of connections. The most popular are Dropbox, Google Drive, Gaggle, and general web downloads. First, click on the "Library" in the upper left corner.
Next, click on "Manage Connections" in the lower left corner of the page.
Click on "Setup New Connection" upper left.
Gaggle Connection Setup
A very easy way to share files in our district is through Gaggle. Follow the steps here to set up access to your Gaggle locker. Now, click on WebDAV.
Fill in each box. Make sure to double check the gaggle address.
When typing in your Gaggle login, follow the example below:
Dropbox
Dropbox is a free cloud storage account. If you already have an account, click on "set up new connection" the select dropbox. You will then be asked to log into your account. I think that this is something you will definitely want to set up.
Online PDF access
Most all pdfs that are online can be opened in iAnnotate by clicking on the red download arrow on the lower right corner of the page. Cscope is a great example for this. In the menu bar, click on the icon of the earth. (If you do not see the icon, click on the arrows at the bottom of the toolbox for more options). This takes you to the internet. You can then login to Cscope and find the material you would like to download.
Toolboxes
Now that you have access to pdf's, let's investigate toolboxes. First of all, they are completely customizable. Many toolboxes are allowed!!! After opening a pdf, you can then start to play with the toolboxes. Tap on the wrench at the top of the toolbox to customize.
