PAC Meeting THIS WEDNESDAY
Minimum Day, Thursday, March 12th
If your child will be going down to the businesses, please remind them to behave appropriately.
ID Cards - REMINDER
We really need parents help in reminding students to place their ID into their backpacks at the end of the day. Students are expected to wear their IDs during the school day (except for PE).
We have already seen some very positive results from having students with their IDs on campus:
1. Lunch lines move so much faster
2. We are learning the names of our students much faster
3. The ASB window lines are moving faster
4. It is preparing them for when they go to high school and will also need to show their ID every day
5. Many jobs require employees to have their ID worn each day. This is building great habits that will transfer over into the workplace.
Students who forget their ID at home are issued a temporary red ID that must be returned to the office at the end of the day or they are placed in lunch detention.
Students are given one free pass to use their back up ID. After that, they will be assigned to our PAWS Area (a timeout area on campus) for lunch. We will reset this each quarter.
If they need a replacement ID, please have them bring $5 to ASB office in the main office and one can be reprinted. If there are special circumstances, please have your child see their counselor or an administrator and we can assist with getting a replacement.
Students may purchase a new ID card in the main office for $5 if theirs has been misplaced.
Open House, Tuesday, March 31st
This evening we do not follow a specific schedule. You are free to roam about the campus at your own pace. We encourage 7th grade families to get a preview of 8th grade by visiting some 8th grade classes.
This is also a minimum Day with students being released at 12:45pm.
