Wildfires

About Wildfires
Local impacts of this type of natural hazard are that it will burn everything in it's path. This includes trees, bushes, homes, and in some cases, people. After a wildfire goes through an area, there will be nothing left but ashes and dust. This is another big impact that a fire has on an area because there will be absolutely nothing left.
In some cases, there are global impacts from a fire. The global impacts of fires are as follows: People will be asked to give donations for the firefighters, and the people impacted by the hazard. Another thing that the globe is able to do is that they can offer out their homes to some of the other who have lost theirs to the flames.
Although this technology is not perfected yet, it can still help in the prediction of fires. the HIGRAD/FIRETEC has been invented to predict when and where a wildfire can begin. It does this by looking at the the relationships between fires and their surroundings. It can calculate the airflow, landscape, and different plants (fuels) in an area. This is a huge help because now, scientists and park rangers are able to see the chances of a wildfire happening.
Even though this technology is helpful it is not perfect because wildfires are so unpredictable. However thanks to the HIGRAD/FIRETEC, we now have an idea of where a fire can start.
There's a lot that an be done for the people affected by wildfires. A lot of times, the biggest help the donations coming in from other areas. An other thing that can be done is that people can offer out there homes for those who's house has been burned down.

Smokey Skyline
Wildfires produce so much smoke, covering most of the sky. The smoke can hurt a lot of people's lungs, which can cause death.
