FY18 Academic Goals
1. Decrease the number of Tier 3 Math students by 5% (approx. 13 students)
2. Increase the number of Tier 1 Math students by 5% (approx. 9 students)
3. Decrease the number of Tier 3 Reading students by 5% (approx. 9 students)
4. Increase the number of Tier 1 Reading students by 5% (approx. 8 students)
How will FY18 academic goals be measured?
We will measure the progress of our academic goals using NWEA MAP scores for Fall, Winter, and Spring. We will measure individual student growth using MAP Skills Locator as a progress monitoring measure/tool for all Tier 2 students and non-IEP Tier 3 students.

HMS will create and monitor a system for implementing school-wide goal setting strategies for students that will include setting goals for improved MAP scores.
HMS will use Thrively platform to teach students how to set goals and monitor his/her growth. We will specifically focus on goal setting for MAP testing (Grow the Green).
HMS will use Thirvely to as a tool to help develop and process growth mindset and grit.
