Our mathletes did a great job at the Math Masters final regional meet representing Highland Catholic and we are so proud of them! Sonja Pocernich placed in the top group in the fact drill competition and received a medal. Our team placed eighth out of 24 schools! And having lunch together at DQ was a fun way to end the day too! It was the coaches’ honor to spend Thursday mornings with your wonderful kids the past several months and hope to see them step up to Junior High Math League next year! |

Our mathletes did a great job at the Math Masters final regional meet representing Highland Catholic and we are so proud of them! Sonja Pocernich placed in the top group in the fact drill competition and received a medal. Our team placed eighth out of 24 schools! And having lunch together at DQ was a fun way to end the day too! It was the coaches’ honor to spend Thursday mornings with your wonderful kids the past several months and hope to see them step up to Junior High Math League next year!

The tricky leprechaun has a history of visiting classrooms and leaving chaos in his wake. The first graders have each designed a leprechaun trap that they will build on the 18th in hopes of catching this pesky leprechaun. The students composed a list of materials they will need to build this trap as well as step by step directions so that anyone who wishes to trap a leprechaun may follow their instructions. |
