S.A.F.E. (Seatbelts Are For Everyone)
Happy almost end of the year students! It is that time again for the S.A.F.E. (Seatbelts Are For Everyone) campaign to come to an end. S.A.F.E is a teen-run, peer-to-peer program focusing on increasing teen restraint compliance through education, positive rewards and enforcement. It is designed to bring awareness to the importance of wearing a seatbelt, therefore reducing the number of motor vehicle-related injuries and fatalities among Kansas teens.
In place of our standard procedures, an anonymous 3 question survey has been designed by the S.A.F.E. state program for all students to complete. This survey does not ask for your name, nor does it record who is completing the survey. Its sole purpose is to provide us with the data we need.
Please CLICK HERE to complete this anonymous survey by May 1, 2021.
Don’t forget, if you want to join S.A.F.E. to receive cool prizes, hand out cool prizes, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HELP SPREAD AWARENESS AND SAVE LIVES, we are in need of more students for the 2021-2022 school year. Please stop by the Police Office if you are interested or have any questions!
Thank you so much and remember, our door is always open for you to come and see us!

ACTITIVIES
BVW Repertory Theatre
The BVW Repertory Theatre will perform two plays the week of May 5-8.
On May 5 and May 7 at 7:00, we present the play THE TIN WOMAN by Sean Grennan. This play written in 2015 centers around Joy, the young recipient of a heart transplant, and the Borden family, whose loss of their son Jack enabled Joy to receive a new heart. Love, loss, rejection, and acceptance are all themes of this heartwarming play.
On May 6 and May 8 at 7:00, we present the classic comedy THE ODD COUPLE by Neil Simon. This classic comedy centers around two suddenly single pals — laid-back sloppy sportswriter Oscar Madison and uptight, fastidious news writer Felix Ungar— who strain their friendship by becoming roommates and unconsciously repeating the same mistakes they made in the marriages they just left.
Ticket information will be coming soon. Please save the date and plan to attend these two amazing stage plays.
