Second-semester offerings reflect parent requests and will include three sessions detailed below. We encourage you to save the dates and times. We look forward to your participation and feedback in order to plan future events. The programs will be streamed on YouTube. Links will be sent upon registration.

PTO NEWS
Does a pandemic winter have you ready to spring into action? Then PTO needs your energy! Believe it or not, elections for the 2021-22 Westwood PTO Board are quickly approaching. We need to form a Nominating Committee of 3-4 individuals who are responsible for developing a slate of candidates for nomination. This is a perfect job for that individual who seems to know everyone! Ideally a full slate of candidates will be prepared in April prior to elections at our May members meeting. The committee can meet virtually if desired and will only need to meet a handful of times over the next couple of months. If you are interested in serving in this capacity or have any questions, please email Christina asap at pto.president.westwood@gmail.com.
Virtual high fives to those who participated in our online Scholastic Book Fair last month! Thanks to your efforts to keep books in the hands of our young readers, our sales totaled $3235, bringing in a profit of $808 Scholastic dollars. This profit will continue to go right back into your children's hands, as we use Scholastic dollars to provide each family with a book for our annual One School, One Book initiative in May. Your support of PTO allows us to continue giving back to our Westwood family in substantial and meaningful ways.
Westwood PTO will be partnering with Urban Growers for our spring fundraiser March 29th-April 23rd. A variety of flowering hanging baskets will be for sale and ready for pick-up just in time for Mother's Day. Stay tuned for more details as things are sprouting up behind the scenes!
