Davenport's Weekly Update
Week of December 6th
Message from the Principal
Dear Davenport Staff & Students,
Greetings,
DECEMBER IS THE MONTH OF JOY!
With only three weeks remaining for the month of December, it seems as though the year of 2020 has flown by... not without challenges however. As we narrow down to our last days of the year, we can reflect on the sorrows, gloom, and hardships, or we can CHOOSE to look at the JOY the year has brought and what we have to look forward to in the NEW YEAR 2021.
Through every obstacle there is a finish line, it is up to us how we CHOOSE to finish. I say to ALL of you, students, families, staff, and community, CHOOSE to see the bright side. CHOOSE Joy! It may be difficult but it is doable. Know that we are in this TOGETHER!
We are THANKFUL for you. We are here if needed. Thank you for all that you continue to do for the Davenport Community!
Few reminders for this upcoming week:
- All grades have been released to Parent Portal, please follow the steps below to access the portal to view you students grades.
- Picture distribution will be Wednesday, December 16th from 10am to 4pm at the Elementary Building. We ask that you DO NOT exit your vehicles. Wait to be greeted by a staff member. Be prepared to share the students first and last name, the homeroom teacher, and grade level.
- On December 16th & 18th, the Renassiance team would like Davenport students/staff to wear holiday colors. Please share your images on the Davenport Parents Club page or with the students teacher.
