The Hoot Owl Man

If you are looking for the perfect summer read, we have the book for you!

Susan Ormand's father, Robert and Allison's grandfather, self-published his first book this April. It is a precious, feel good story of a father/sons adventure. It will make you laugh, cry and hope that Roy Philp will keep writing. You can buy on Amazon!

10 Things You Don't Know About Susan Ormand...

1. I was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas- mom, dad and brother still live there.

2. I spent 8 summers out at Laity Lodge Youth Camp as a camper and counselor- still some of my happiest memories.

3. I once was a cheerleader- sign-up squad. I once tried out for cheerleader and they called my name over the PA System and then quickly came back with a "Sorry, wrong Susan."

4. The first house I lived in, we bought from the Dixie Chicks parents. Yes, we got posters but no free tickets:(

5. I once was "Roof-eed" at a local restaurant and ended up on a stretcher in an ambulance.

6. My daughter makes me laugh harder than anyone.

7. I wish I was more like my son.

8. My family may be the coolest family I was ever born into. They have taught me how to love unconditionally.

9. I LOVE to go crabbing.

10. I like to go to movies by myself.

...AND WE OUT!
