Wayne Central HS Library
News from the circ desk
The Library has been a hopping place lately!
My number one goal for this year in the WCHS library was to make the library a welcoming space.
Not only do we have classes scheduled regularly here, but there are many individual students who stop in throughout the day to work on computers, print out papers, or to find a book to read.
I've really enjoyed getting to know the students this year and look forward to meeting many more in the future.
Chrome Books are popular
This is what I like seeing-happy students working in the library.
Grace struggles to reach the top shelf.
We're in the process of fixing this problem. Soon, there will be no more standing on tip toes to reach the top shelves. (for most of us anyway)
Mrs. Perconti's Theater Classes
Theater classes use the chrome books and other devices to work on their final projects.
Library Improvements
Visability
We can now see across the entire library
Classroom Section
The reference section has been streamlined and reorganized. Materials are organized in a way that makes more sense and maximizes classroom space.
New Book Display
There is now a consistent place to display new books. It is placed so that students see it as they enter the library.
