PRAYER

Opening Prayer

Oh Lord, as each day starts anew, I know all things are made by You

You make the clouds and gentle rain. You make the sun come out again.

You make the rainbow in the sky, and the birds that fly up high.

You make the flowers and every tree. Thank You, God, for blessing me.

Amen

SCRIPTURE

This Week's Memory Verse - Philippians 4:6-7

"Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

I always learn scripture better when I can put music to it. If that sounds like you, too, you can use this music video to help you remember this awesome verse about how to approach moments of anxiety.

AFFIRMATIONS

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and because He is steadfast, who we are in Him remains the same regardless of circumstances. These statements remind us whose we are and who we are Because of who Jesus is.

Speak these statements together as a family.

Big picture

CLOSING PRAYER

Now, before I run to play, let me not forget to pray

To God who kept me through the night and woke me with the morning light

Help me, Lord, to love Thee more than I have ever loved before

In my work and in my play, be Thou with me through the day

Amen
