Red River Cart on Sale
These Red River Carts were used for carrying hides, dried meat, and a tallow from their bison hunts. Most of these carts were made out of oak trees. There was no iron or no nails holding them together.They used leather to tie them together.
ADVANTAGES
Some advantages were they could take them on bison hunts and haul everything they own to the next place. They go for they don't have to make several trips.
DISADVANTAGES
Some of the disadvantages is these carts would brake down a lot and would get stuck in mud. If these carts would break down hauling heavy loads they would have to unload the stuff to put the wheel back on.
HOW DID IT IMPACT NORTH DAKOTA
It impacted North Dakota because it was on the the Red River were there camp was. It made it easier for the metis to haul stuff, which impacted north Dakota with a lots of Red River Carts made.

This cart was made by Metis to use in there sediment on the red river. This cart can carry 1000 pounds and floats across streams. This cart has many uses like fur trading and can be used for anything.
