Due to events out of our control, we are making a few changes to the new member on-boarding process. We want to be able to support all of our new members fully and feel these changes are important to the process.

On boarding will happen in 2 Courses. Course 1 - General Vanguard operations & information. Course 2 - Instructional Coaching. Courses will take place through iTunes U.

Course 1 will be Nov. 17- Dec. 19. Course 2 will be Jan 5 - Apr. 25.

I understand that “Perks of Vanguard” are just that perks and are not guaranteed. Some perks are but not limited to attendance conferences, supply/tool stipend, and a device with a data plan.

Stipends, when provided, are to be used to enhance & support student learning. This year's stipend is slated to be $400. Take some time to look at this Padlet for ideas. Google Home or Alexa are NOT okay to purchase. Drones will need to be justified. New Members will need to complete on boarding course 1 to be eligible for this stipend.

We have an iPad with DATA for you! You just need to request one. These iPads will be temporary solution until we can get iPad Pros. We have no timeline for receiving these iPads.

1. Download iTunesU on to an iPad or iPhone
   
2. Log in with a PERSONAL Apple ID. (we are using personal to avoid any access issue, because not all members have a district Apple ID)
   
3. tap the "+" at the top and enter the course join code DWC-ZNC-ETE
