Our East Bobcats have Character!

We recently completed our annual Red Ribbon Week with a day dedicated to showing our character and saying "BOO" to drugs! Our East students spent the week showing their dedication to staying drug free by wearing red, wearing a mustache, dressing like their favorite superhero, wearing all of their purple to show their Bobcat Pride and then their favorite book character.

October also brought a focus on learning new leadership habits and working to meet our campus and individual goals! We celebrated with our students with popsicles at recess, dance parties on morning announcements and a school-wide assembly.

During this month, we also celebrated our annual Western Days celebration and enjoyed a fun day filled with a petting zoo, homemade ice cream, story tellers, cloggers, and many other fun activities! Our Specials Team outdid themselves and we were blessed with a fun and memorable day!

Your children fill our halls with joy every day and we are so grateful that you choose East Elementary for their education. We look forward to finishing out this second semester strong and watching your students achieve the goals that they have set for themselves!

Save the Date - December 21st for P.T.A. Launch and Polar Express!

We are excited to share that we are working to establish our state P.T.A. status with the state of Texas and will begin our membership drive in December. We have several parents that have helped us gather and develop the documents that we need to apply for our official status and our first step is to host our membership drive.

We will be sharing more information about membership very soon and will kick off our signup for membership on Thursday, December 21st. Please save this date on your calendars and look forward to spending a fun night with our East Family. More information will be coming soon!
