In a public library people from all backrounds come for information and assistance. Being a good librarian, you should be bilingual to enable you to help people as much as possible. Librarians help people find information from many sources. They maintain library collections and do other work as needed to keep the library running. Being a librarian, you do not have to travel unless you would like to. The only dangers you would face is possible break ins or papercuts. Some advantages of being a libraring are as follows: It is a peaceful environment, it does not get too busy, and it is a flexible job. To become a librarian most librarians need a master’s degree in library science. Some positions have additional requirements, such as a teaching certificate or a degree in another field. Two universities you could go to to receive training to be a Librarian are Duke Univeristy or Bloomberg. The average pay is $54,500 per year or $26.20 per hour.
