Re-Enrollment Notice
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our re-enrollment period will start Sunday, December 1, 2019 and end on Friday, January 31, 2020. You have 2 options on how to submit your application for re-enrollment.
The online link for the Application for Re-enrollment will be active on Sunday, December 1st. Go to your Family Access through Skyward and fill out the Re-Enrollment Online Form. You will have the option to upload your proof of residency online or submit it to the school’s registrar. You will receive a confirmation email that your application for re-enrollment has been received if a valid email address was provided. If you do not intend on re-enrolling your child to campus for the 2020-2020 school year, please indicate this on the form.
Option #2: In-Person Submission
Enclosed you will find a 2020-2021 Application for Re-enrollment. Please complete the form and submit it to your school’s registrar with your current proof of residency. You will receive a confirmation receipt from the registrar that the school has received your application for re-enrollment. If you do not intend on re-enrolling your child at School of Science and Technology Sugar Land for the 2020-2021 school year, please fill out the bottom portion of the form and submit it to the school’s registrar. The re-enrollment form is attached!
Proof of Residency:
A proof of residency can be a utility bill, lease agreement, etc. (a complete list of proof of residency can be found in the Parent/Student Handbook on page 11). Please note that your proof of residency must have a physical residential address on it, no P.O. Boxes will be accepted.
Important Notice: The due date to submit your application for re-enrollment is Friday, January 31st . If we do not receive your application for re-enrollment by the due date, your child will lose his or her spot at the school. Re-enrollment forms received after Friday, January 31st will not be accepted. Late applicants for re-enrollment will need to reapply and go through the regular enrollment application process and lottery.

Student Council is organizing a food drive benefitting Lunches of Love, a non-profit organization that is committed to helping end childhood hunger in Fort Bend County. The most needed items are the followings:
- Fruit Cups (Individually packed)
- Fruit Juices
- Granola Bars
Boxes are available in the hallways or in the classrooms to leave items. Drive will end on December 13th.

Book Fair at SST Sugar Land
Dear SST Sugar Land Parents/Guardians,
SST Sugar Land will be hosting Bookfair (December 3-10, 2019) with a holiday concept. The hours for the Book Fair will be from 7:15 AM. to 8:00 AM. and 2:30 PM. to 3:45 PM.
Additionally, our Book Fair will also be open during our December FAMILY events! If you will be attending the events, Please fill this out to RSVP by Monday, December 2, 2019. The event details are as follows:

Vocabulary/Book Parade Tuesday 12/10/2019
- Tuesday 12/10- Vocabulary/Book Parade: Students should dress up as a book character, a profession, or as their chosen vocabulary words. Students are not allowed to wear masks, paint their faces, or have toy weapons with their outfit. Students are expected to follow the dress code when dressing up for the parade. Parents are welcome to come and watch the parade from 9:00 am.-9:45 am.

We will be having our official school Grand Opening Ceremony on Friday, December 13, 2019, between 2:00 PM. and 3:30 PM.

Not only are we celebrating our school, but we will also be commending our students' life goals. Because we know that the first step to achieving success starts with creating goals, we require all students to participate in the ceremony activities.
Calling all future doctors, lawyers, engineers, and scientists: Homeroom teachers will ask students to create a presentation on their dream university that will be presented during the opening ceremony, and students will also be encouraged to attend the ceremony dressed up in their dream profession!
School of Science and Technology Sugar Land serves PK thru 7 in its second year.

Jean's Day on Fridays!
Students may wear jeans with a uniform shirt or spirit shirt! *There's no prorated rate, the amount must be paid in full*
Money from Jean's Day will go to the activity fund, which contributes to student events, field trips, and prizes.
*If students have not paid for Jean's Day, they are not allowed to wear jeans. Parents will be called to bring uniform pants*
