TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK BEGINS TOMORROW!
Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is this week (5/2-5/6). Let's show our CGE teachers and instructional assistants just how much we appreciate the endless dedication they give to each and every one of our students.

To help with some of the acts, here are the links to our "Teachers' Favorite Things"
The PTA has also planned a wonderful themed "Thank you for Raising the Bar" menu throughout the week for our educators.
Lastly, the PTA is also hosting a fun "Chalk the Walk" Event this Tuesday evening to cover the school sidewalks with appreciation chalk messages for our teachers and staff. Please mark your calendar.

From the Counselors
Introducing your 2022 CGE Student Council
Class Representative
Favorite hobbies:
When I have free time I like to play video games or hang out with my two cats. And I sometimes like playing with my older brother.
Why do you want to be on the CGE Student Council? What changes do you hope to make?
I started student council because I wanted to clean up our environment, I was already worried about the amount of trash in the world, but with student council, I would be able to have a chance to clean some of that up.
What are your goals?
If it's the near future, I would like to volunteer to pick up trash, not just around the school, but beside roads too. If it's the far future, I would want to start a business that would MOST LIKELY have something to do with global warming and deforestation.
A little more about Cameron:
I would like to have a paying job by the age of 15.
5th Grade Representative Service Committee
Favorite hobbies:
Reading and Drawing
Why do you want to be on the CGE Student Council? What changes do you hope to make?
I want to be on the student council because I want to make the school a cleaner place. I am excited to make sure that the school campus is looking clean.
What are your goals for the future?
I want to become a video game designer, an artist in music (singing and writing songs), or an artist in art. Also, I want to become a famous writer. Finally, I want to become very good at soccer.
A little more about Addison:
I am the kind of person who will try to help you. I also think before I speak, that way I don't say something that I will regret saying afterward.
CAFETERIA VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED!
