Is my Student Really Sick?
If you receive a text or email directly from your student during the school day that he/she is sick, please ask your student if he/she has spoken to Mrs. Craig, our school nurse. Mrs. Craig should check your students to determine what is going on, and then she will let you know if they are not well enough to be at school.
Pella Middle School Staff Once Again Proving to be Stellar
Before we begin to usher in new staff members, we would like to sincerely thank this year's new staff for their impact, contributions, energy, leadership, and growth mindsets they have shown this first semester. They’ve played a significant role in our culture, team, and student success. If you would like to send any of them a quick email of gratitude, they would be so appreciative. Their emails can be found below their name and pictures below.
A special, "Thanks," goes to Haley Bjustrom for leading our new staff orientation change management project to orient and usher in the largest number of new teammates in the past 12 years; it made a huge impact. Another special thanks goes to our returning staff for the support they’ve provided our students, staff, and building this first semester. They have been tremendous, and this school year has been nothing shy of an eventful middle school adventure.
