Special Note about Bounced Checks
WSMB by-laws state how returned checks are to be handled. The current Disney document sent home stated "Any bank fees incurred as a result of returned checks will be charged against the student's account."
- Any person who submits a check to the WSMB and is returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be assessed the prevailing bank charge for the NSF check.
- After two such occurrences, all monetary transactions with the WSMB must be handled on a cash or money order basis for the remainder of the fiscal year. Receipts will be provided upon request.

REAL ID in Pennsylvania
Beginning October 1, 2020, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant license, identification card or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic flight. This applies for anyone 18 years of age or older.
Since most of the students are under the age of 18 they do not need to worry about this. Students who are 18 during the trip and adults going on the trip will need to make sure they secure a REAL-ID compliant license/ID Card. Even if the student does not have a drivers license they still need to have a REAL-ID compliant ID Card. If they have a valid passport or military ID then this will work as well.
Everyone should start this process now. It will take some time for them to secure their REAL ID and the closer we get to October 1st the busier PennDOT will be with processing these applications which could delay the process.
Attached please find some more information about this process. You can also learn more at www.PennDOT.gov/REALID. Information also attached.
WSSD looking for Input on District Calendar for 2020-2021
One area we are particularly interested in hearing from you regarding, is use of November 30 as a school day. In the past, the Monday following Thanksgiving has been a day off for students and staff. There is a place on the survey to share your preference regarding Monday, November 30th.
What this means to us: The District only allows us to miss three days of school for major trips. We planned the trip with the anticipation that Monday might be taken away. We still fall under the guidelines of trip of trip rules but many are concerned with students missing three days instead of two. If you would like to leave input - please use the button below.
The deadline for submitting comments is Monday, February 10, 2020. After reviewing suggestions received, the Board of School Directors will likely take action on a calendar at its meeting on February 20.
Remind Texts for Fundraising
This Is how to sign up for Remind texts with Boosters. You may want to sign up for Remind messages - we use this to announce when forms are due and pickup date reminders
