Remember When?
T. Torrest
WARNING:
"Remember When" is the first book in a romantic comedy trilogy, but there is NO CLIFFHANGER. It is intended for mature teen readers and immature adult ones due to some high school sex scenes, underage drinking, questionable language and 1980s flashbacks.
Do not read if:
- You don't like romance
- You can't deal with sexual content
- You are overly emotional when it comes to fictional things like I am— you will cry of happiness or sadness throughout the book
- You are not old enough for mature topics like high school drama, sex scenes, or drinking/partying
- You aren't mentally prepared to be addicted to a book
About the book:
With heart-breaking romance, love scenes and hilarious eighties references, readers of all ages will find themselves cheering for Layla and dreaming about Wiley for years to come. It's an endearing journey through the rocky world of friendship, family and high school and the memory of that one incredible guy your heart just can't seem to forget.
Characters:
The two main characters are Layla and Trip. The two are high school sweet hearts, and are in love with every part of each other but things just didn't work out like they thought they would. Trip becomes a very famous actor and Layla lands a job as a reporter at the end of Book #1. Opinion:
The book was overall very interesting to read. Between the awkward sex scenes, vulgar language, and the relatable feelings about boys— this book was perfect for a teenage girl to read. I highly recommend reading this book, as well as the other two in the trilogy.
