The Titanic Sinks

The Titanic sinking was one of the biggest tragedies of all time. Some people say it was because someone didn't make it strong enough or that they lied and they wanted people to think it was unsinkable so they could get more money. The answer is is that the rivets were not built strong enough because when someone found the Titanic, there wasn't a big crack through the hull like everyone thought.

So Many People Died

When the Titanic sunk, hundreds of people died. Only about 700 people survived and about 1,500 people had died. Many people thought that the reason that there weren't many survivors was that there weren't enough lifeboats and it was true. There were not enough lifeboats to save more lives.

The New Way

Ever since the Titanic sunk, people have started to make ships safer. They are making ships stronger and making sure there are enough lifeboats for every passenger on board. The Titanic was one of the biggest tragedies of all time although it did teach several people to be safer and make ships stronger.
