Bransford Blast
October 8, 2017
Terrific Texan Families,
This week our teachers engaged in learning with Jennifer Unger, a teaching artist. Jennifer went into many of the classrooms coaching and modeling Actor's Toolbox and tableaus for with the students and the staff. What an incredible opportunity for our Texans to see our terrific teachers as learners!
Than you to all the Texan students and families who made National Walk to School Day a HUGE success! What fun it was to walk from home and Colleyville City Park! It even made a traffic around Bransford a bit lighter!
Speaking of traffic, the city is doing some paving and painting of the road this weekend and on Monday. Thank you for your continued patience with the construction. We are going to have some great roads when they are finished!
Tuesday starts our book drive for students impacted by Hurricane Harvey. This book drive was started by one of our amazing third grade students, Greysen Parsley. The book drive ends on Friday night at our Dad's Club Movie event. See below for more details on the drive and movie event.
Hope you are each enjoying the long weekend! Looking forward to seeing each of you on Tuesday!
Best,
