SEL Corner: Bedminster Spirit!

Here at Bedminster, we have all kinds of fun! Every month we hold a spirit assembly representing T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E. and good school behavior. Last month, in April, our T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E. theme was initiative. We are excited to celebrate dependability, our T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E. theme for May. An exciting upcoming event at our school is the Shoe Drive. Help out the children in need by donating shoes from May 8th to May 12th.

At our spirit assemblies, we recognize students who consistently show T.A.K.E.S. P.R.I.D.E. behavior. They play fun games as a reward of behaving well at school. Examples of our fun games are cup stacking, keep it up with balloons, and many more that are enjoyed with teachers as well. As you can see below, Bedminster participates in many fun events, and you can be a part of many of them!

Elephant Game at the April TAKES PRIDE Assembly

The participants in last month's game were, in the back row of our picture, Jessica, Taya, and Tommy. Lottie, Eli, and Drew were in the front row of the picture. During this game, the students were told to put stockings over their heads with tennis balls in the foot position. This style represented an elephant. They had one minute to knock down eight cups by swinging the tennis ball by using their head.
