From the Principal’s Desk
Dear Shiloh Family,
We are elated to announce that our Shiloh Jr. HOSA just brought home a 1st and 2nd place win for Shiloh from our Virtual Fall Leadership Conference!
- 2nd Place Mock Interview - Tanaya Pinkston (President)
- 1st Place Recruitment Poster - Laiya Bass (Historian), Yahir Silverio (Vice President), and Yaphet Teklemariam (Secretary)
A special thank you to Ms. Larkins for her leadership of our Jr. HOSA program! We appreciate your commitment to excellence!
On Thursday, November 19, the Red, Blue, and You initiative, will be implemented throughout the district(see attachments). Schools may have community volunteers heading to the schools to drop off bows and to share messages of thanks.
In addition, you also will find a flyer on how to participate in this year’s Red, Blue, and You celebration… share messages of thanks to our teachers and others, wear red, white, and blue on Nov. 19, say thank you on social media, etc. The organization will be posting some of these same types of messages on the district’s social media as a way to encourage our community to thank our teachers and school staff as part of this community celebration.
Please continue to encourage students to log on daily and complete all assignments; as given. As a reminder, if your child is not feeling well, please keep him/her at home. This will help us maintain a healthy school environment.
If you have not completed your instructional preference form for next semester, please do so. The window has been extended to November 29, 2020.
We appreciate your continued support of Shiloh Middle School!
